Although there have been narrations and illustrations of Granada all through its long history, the authors of the TRAVELLER'S GUIDE TO GRANADA, chose this title to render homage to Don Miguel Lafuente Alcantara, who in 1843 wrote the book "Libro del Viajero en Granada"(Traveller's Book to Granada) and who is considered the first author of a Guide to this town. Ever since then, many authors have published works of this kind, all of them aimimg at providing orientation and information to the TRAVELLER.
